Chosen Hill School Gymnasium – Before the Upgrade
Chosen Hill School, Gloucester upgraded one of their gymnasium’s lighting from 400 Watt Sodium to our new 78 Watt Sports Batten LED luminaires.
The twelve existing Sodium light fittings had an electrical load of 5.6KW was costing in the region of £1,087.00 per annum to run. These were replaced with twelve Sports Batten LED luminaires reducing the electrical load to 936 Watts and an annual running cost of just £212.00 per annum.
The light level achieved was 324 lux average illuminance to meet current guidelines. Each Sports Batten LED light fitting has an electrical output of 78 Watts and a 9,000 lumen light output, and comes complete with a wire guard for protection plus a 5 year warranty.
