Total Lighting & Controls secured the contract from Gloucestershire County Council to upgrade the existing fluorescent lighting to LED at Cirencester Fire Station.
Each of the existing light fittings in the appliance bays had two 49Watt T5 fluorescent tubes, which were upgraded to 22Watt LED tubes. Electrical savings of 58% were made and the light output was increased to make the bays much brighter. With the additional benefit of the long life of LED tubes, reducing maintenance costs, this upgrade provides the ideal cost effective lighting solution.
