Gloucestershire County Council recently instructed Total Lighting & Controls to upgrade the existing lighting on the first floor at Cirencester Library to LED.
The installation included our Linear LED suspended continuous modular system in the main area, and the circular suspended pendant in the lounge. A modification was undertaken to the recessed wall wash lighting by installing LED battens within the body of the fitting. This provided excellent light levels to the walls.
Light levels have been designed to meet 500 lux which is a huge improvement on the old lighting. Management and staff commented on how much brighter the area is compared to previously.
