A building company wished to install 60 lighting bollards with 70 watt son lamps, but with a 4.9kw electrical load it would have overloaded their supply capacity for a local distribution board.
Total Lighting & Controls recommended and supplied the stainless steel bollards pictured, with 23 watt compact fluorescent lamps providing a total electrical load of 1.6kw enabling the project to be completed to the illuminance levels that were required.
