A leisure centre had passive infra red and microwave movement sensors installed throughout the building to turn lights off when areas were left unoccupied.
Microprocessor units were also installed at distribution boards to control high intensity discharge lamps in the swimming pools.
Total estimated electrical savings of in excess of £6,000 per annum were calculated.
