Total Lighting & Controls have undertaken numerous lighting and power installations for Longlevens Church over many years.
The church wardens mentioned that they were considering having a new kitchen installed in the church hall, but the quote they had was for a commercial steel kitchen, was very expensive and not within budget at present. As Total Lighting have a network of local tradespeople undertaking work for us we suggested that we could put together a project and manage the installation for the church if it came within their budget. The recommendation was that a commercial kitchen was not required and the proposal we put forward was well within budget, and could be installed during the summer break when the hall did not have so many bookings.
The new kitchen included new drawers and cupboards, work surfaces, sink units, a range cooker, commercial dishwasher, fridge and a freezer. The old flooring was removed and a new non slip vinyl floor was installed. All the plumbing and electrics were replaced, new tiling and all the walls were painted to provide a modern user friendly kitchen.
All the church wardens, the vicar and customers have commented on the improvements and how delighted they are with the finished kitchen.
