Solving Energy Efficiency In The Public Sector
Salix finance provides interest-free Government funding to the public sector to improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and lower energy bills. Funding is available to Local Authorities, Higher Education and the NHS. Schools and colleges are also eligible to apply, including maintained schools and academies. Car parks
Communal areas of social housing
Council offices and operational buildings, such as depots and warehouses
External building lighting, floodlighting and spot lighting
Libraries, leisure and sports centres
Museums, galleries and theatres
Parks and playgrounds
Public transport shelter and footpath lighting
Street lighting, traffic lighting, bollards and street furniture
